PlaySafe™ is a playground surfacing mulch designed to reduce impact injuries, keep play areas accessible to everyone and provide a good, clean play environment for children.
PlaySafe™ is made from 100% natural recycled wood fibers that are free of debris, chemicals and other foreign materials (Engineered Wood Fiber Test ASTM F2075-04). The wood fibers are finely ground to produce a shock-absorbing surface that will reduce injuries from falls.
This innovation helps PlaySafe™ meet or exceed the required Head Impact Guidelines of the Consumer Products Safety Commission (Head Impact Test ASTM F1292-04) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Wheelchair Accessibility Guidelines (Wheelchair Accessibility Test ASTM F1951-99) for wheelchairs, canes and crutches.
Plus, it was designed and is completely manufactured by Spurt Industries (the company known for making, good, clean dirt and mulch products) for the past 15 years with over a half million cubic yards sold.
